Clean Air Act, Cap-N-Trade Benefit All

OhioLCV staffer Micah Vieux recently had this letter to the editor published in the Akron Beacon Journal.

We must rebuild the economy in Ohio and across with nation with new, clean energy. A new energy policy, including a cap-and-trade provision for CO2 and other green house gases, holds the promise of generating millions of new jobs, nearly 80,000 of them in Ohio. Our failed energy policy has worsened the economic downturn, fueled global warming, and hurt working families trying to make ends meet. Converting America's pollution-based economy to one fueled by clean, home-grown energy is an opportunity for historic transformation: Repowering, refueling, and rebuilding America.
